After she graduated, she got a job as research assistant at Wood’s Hole Oceanographic Institution, where she solidified her passion for research. She worked in a marine science lab at USC, and then studied abroad in Australia to take more marine biology classes not available at USC. The data can help answer whether the tuna are moving north for access to more oxygen in the water or for cooler temperatures.
